The Ludo, a board game in which the players race their four tokens from start to finish according to die rolls. Each player rolls the die, the highest roller begins the game. The players alternate turns in a clockwise direction.
Ludo is derived from the Indian game Pachisi, but simpler. Pachisi originated in India by the 6th century. The earliest evidence of this game in India is the depiction of boards on the caves of Ajanta.
